Enrico Pedrotti
Enrico Pedrotti (* 1. März 1905 in Trient; † 31. März 1965 in Bozen) gilt als einer der bedeutendsten italienischen Fotografen der Moderne. Er begann seine Karriere in den 1920er-Jahren und eröffnete 1929 sein erstes Fotostudio in Trient. Bekannt wurde er für seine Bergfotografie, Porträts und avantgardistische Experimente, die oft dem Futurismus nahestanden. Dank seiner frühen Vorliebe für das Spiel von Licht und Schatten gilt er als Pionier der High-Key-Fotografie.

Enrico Pedrotti spezialisierte sich früh auf Aufnahmen der alpinen Welt, die in vielerlei Weise von ihm verewigt wurde. “Sciatore 1927” hat er bereits im Alter von 22 Jahren im Trentino aufgenommen. Er strebte beim fotografieren ständig nach Klarheit, Einfachheit und suchte vor allem ab 1930 immer mehr den Kontakt mit der Moderne.
Enrico Pedrotti specialized early on in photographs of the Alpine world, which he immortalized in many different ways. He took “Sciatore 1927” in Trentino when he was just 22 years old. In his photography, he constantly strove for clarity and simplicity, and from 1930 onwards, he increasingly sought contact with modern photography art.
